"Gotta be careful with the knife," he said while using it while holding it by the blade. Also, when did unboxing videos become a thing? I'm old but I just don't get it.
He's just a kid trying stuff out with the technology available in the day and age.
My brother and I used to play around with a tape recorder and pretend we were DJs with our own radio program, and other things that make me sound old, but that's what we had back then. We didn't have cheap video tech, or the internet, or we might have grown up putting dumb videos together for our own amusement and to try to get some attention.
I can see where someone could copy a trend, for kind of bandwagoning purposes, while they're still in the stages of trying to figure out their own thing.

There is so much lying in advertising that unboxing videos are regarded as a more direct representation of, well, what's in the box, and are especially useful as retail moves online where you can't pick the thing up and look at it before buying. They're just the YouTube equivalent of Amazon user reviews, for better and worse.
Babies watch unboxing videos for the same reason they like playing peek-a-boo or jack-in-the-box.
(They make a good reference for producing counterfeit goods)

Throughout the 20th century, the fedora was a symbol of manliness and class. Now it's worn by fat nerds that don't know you have to wear a fucking SUIT to make that look work right.
You do not wear a fucking fedora with a fucking T-shirt.
And don't even get me started on his asinine happy face vest. Who the fuck would wear something that hideous?

To be fair, he's actually rocking that hat.
