It's been a real soul-shattering experience.

My friend showed me something like this in Minecraft and I stood there baffled, wondering what I could say or how anyone becomes interested in logic design but preferring not to simulate a logic circuit like that with free software, or design it on paper and build it in IRL.
If the irony were acknowledged there is still nothing interesting about clumsily representing a logic circuit using a CPU a billion times more powerful than the thing in question. The third thing is wondering if there is a spiral to e depicted maybe beginning with early 20th century train systems/model train enthusiasm, leading to primitive dedicated electromechanical logic control, leading to mass-produced personal computers that will do anything, leading to someone being this unable to leave their comfort zone in pursuit of a skill or creative outlet.
OR you may need to lighten up a little bit
The thought of idly watching a video about making this is intensely maddening! That's why I came here, and I rated it too, because I finished the jigsaw puzzles they gave me.

Four stars if someone tells me which part of this video I can skip to, to when the people in lineups get mowed down by the off-track death machines.
