A good DC movie came out a year ago. Wonder Woman was terrific. But it makes all the shitty ones feel even worse because we know they're capable of better.

wtf happened to the writers from the DC cartoons, batman, superman, justice league, JLU, batman beyond..
Those cartoons were leagues better than any of the current superhero movies.

Wonder Woman was an ok movie that became a bad movie in the last 20 minutes when it remembered it was part of the DC movieverse.

It was propped up and trotted around by the same crowd that declared Black Panther as a cultural event when it was merely an ok marvel movie.

I want this movie to be good as Captain Marvel is probably my favorite DC character, but I have the nagging feeling that they are showing all the good bits in the trailer and the rest is going to be grimdark like the rest of them...

When Nolan's movies came out, I was so excited for DC and then Man of Steel happened. Then Superman Vs. Batman and Justice League, and they all look like so dark, humorless, and worst of all, fucking bland.

I blame Snyder but Affleck had a lot to do with that, too. The casting was horrendous and DC needs to follow Marvel's example and take some fucking control over their products instead of handing the reins over to someone who doesn't understand their creations.

I was shocked this looks like a good movie and then I realized it's because someone who has a human heart directed it.

Zack Snyder is literally an alien with no human emotions.

I suspect DC wants to save him for a Johnny Thunder reboot.
