jfcaron_ca I want to show this movie in french with english subs if I ever do an ethnic French-Canadian MNR stream. Also "La Guerre des Tuques" a.k.a. "The Dog that Stopped the War".
betamaxed I streamed this out on Sunday morning after showing "The Glitterball" (1977). While watching glitterball, Cog mentioned "hey this sorta reminds me of 'The Peanut Butter Solution' and of course I had TPBS stashed away in my vault. We were utterly dumbfounded by how the Peanut Butter Solution turned out to be this completely nonsensical, weird, and deeply creepy movie. When this song came on during the movie's only 'chase' sequence my wife said "The lyrics to this song sounds as if it's telling a story about young woman who gets hooked on coke and has sex with her dealer"
cognitivedissonance I hadn't seen this movie in *28 years*. Entire sequences could be remembered, verbatim, especially the scene where the sinister art teacher is berating children for not drawing his dog realistically enough. Just a perplexing movie.
Marlon Brawndo One of the weirdest movies ever made. I've met people who were seriously traumatized by the hair scene.
