I'm not familiar with Godfather's, is this a NE thing?
And have they always done this character? I'm also really holding off on making a "I have a pizza you can't refuse" joke.

cognitivedissonance - 2018-10-15 West Coast chain, but I think they closed any stores west of the Rockies. I haven’t seen one in over a decade. The pizza always had an overly margariney flavor to me, but maybe that was the ridiculous amount of cheese they put on every pizza. Shakey’s, meanwhile, was the last and only time the West Coast had decent pizza.
My main memory of Godfather’s was beating the Simpsons arcade machine with friends when I was about 13. So many quarters.

teethsalad - 2018-10-15 they're based out of omaha, remember herman cain? he was their CEO or in some executive capacity with them for some time. they're all over NE/SD/MN/IA. they're usually in towns that don't have a pizza ranch franchise, you'll usually find one or the other
and they've been flogging that dead horse mobster character for a while, they had another guy on tv ads in the 90s who looked more like rodney dangerfield than don corleone

yogarfield - 2018-10-15 @coggy Best pizza arcade game ever.

Forgot stars and just saw the tagged links, lol.
I need to know more. How does this place stack up against Little Caesar's, Hungry Howies, Cici's, etc.

teethsalad - 2018-10-15 above average for the midwest - better than a cicis, little ceasars, etc

"Lemme get this out--"
"Mm-hmm"
"--cuz this is important."
Mid-western chain. Had them in Houston when I was growing up. It is the food of the damned and why we deserve what's coming.
They have a Wikipedia page. Founded in Nebraska in '73 by the least Italian-named guy that ever wasn't Italian.
