Three days before the 2016 democratic primaries my state abruptly shut down 75% of polling locations, disproportionately those in non-white districts and near state schools, and without posting any relocation instructions. Also most employees at the state house went home about an hour early that day, so anyone who managed to get there after not being able to find their polling place might not have been able to get in to the building (I know of one person who ended up there after being redirected to incorrect polling locations across two different towns and was only able to vote because they happened to see a custodian who unlocked the door and let them in, even though technically polls were still open and the actual polling area was still staffed despite the building being locked and mostly abandoned.

I know that's at most tangentially relevant but it still pisses me off.

Eh, let's call that tale pretty fuckin' relevant.
