I only heard of this film recently. It's a remarkable idea for a movie and it's a bizarre mix of silly and really good metaphor.

My Mimi had an aerial that you could dial in with a rotary control in the house(the sound the motor made as it tracked location of the antenna I can remember perfectly).. I remember tuning in Pee-wee's playhouse on that thing...RIP Grandma
