aww lame, didn't know he had passed away. I think his era Faith No More is the only stuff that aged well at all.

Same. Back in middle school when The Real Thing came out and they blew up we were all in to Epic and everything for a while but it wasn't too long before we all found Introduce Yourself and THAT album was a real revelation, on par with the first time I heard Frank Zappa or the Butthole Surfers' good period, or Black Sabbath, or Bo Diddley.

I'm pretty sure The Crab Song was the first music I ever heard on CD.
