I like it, it's like if a beat-era vocalist was around in the disco age.

I now have listened to the whole album, and I conclude the album would have been better with a different producer.

It seems like he has everything needed except strings, which the choral group is covering. I liked how much the piano is featured.

Every format of music has these kind of oddities, eccentric albums, when the style becomes popular.

Another guy you might try if you like this, Scott Walker. He's a step up in every way, but does easy listening songs with quirky storytelling lyrics.
