The more I see of this woman the more I love her.. just wish she was old enough to run for president

SolRo - 2019-03-13

No way man, the cons found out a defunct company she was involved with owes a little over ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS in unpaid taxes!! She's unelectable!

Meerkat - 2019-03-13

I heard she once gave a speech to the junior rotary club!

BURRRRN THE WIIIIIITCH!

Ugh - 2019-03-13

:laugh::laugh: she should go back to tending bar :usa::laugh:#maga

-every twitter post about her ever in existence by anyone with a conservate viewpoint after she says something

Two Jar Slave - 2019-03-13

It's insane to me that any working-class person living in a democracy would think a business mogul could represent their perspective better than a bartender.

What planet do you want your political representative to come from? The one you live on, or the one you'll never see?

Caminante Nocturno - 2019-03-13

I can't wait until she's old enough to run for president, either. I'm really looking forward to how her supporters react to her humiliating defeat.

Born in the RSR - 2019-03-13

Caminate, what happened to you?

I used to look up to you, you were the Alpha Weeb on this site.

And now I can't even look at you.

SolRo - 2019-03-13

Maybe he had to do jail time for being a pedo and got indoctrinated by the skinheads?

Marlon Brawndo - 2019-03-13

I liked her a lot up until she went after Howard Schultz. I didn't think that was very fair of her given her background, and it was very hypocritical. I don't agree with her on everything. The things I do agree with her on need to be said in government way more. I'm glad she's there to represent the far left because I think the far left has been so shut out of American politics and Congress since forever. But she needs to tone it down a little bit.

The reason they are digging for dirt is because she's a smokescreen right now. The Dems don't have any intention of letting her ideas go forward for a Green New Deal, as much as I would love that and everyone on Earth would benefit from it. They will probably slap some Obamacare version of a GND together at some point to convince the rubes they care. But right now, most of the party is in disarray between the moderates and the far leftists. They won't win the next election because they aren't as cohesive in their platform as the GOP is right now. This is problematic. The GOP experienced growing pains with the Tea Party and that was one of the reasons they were so spread thin and that helped get Obama elected.

My theory is that they are pushing her to the forefront as much as possible even though there are dozens of more qualified Democrats that could talk about these issues much more succinctly and with more expertise and grace...but they aren't. They want AOC to fuck up and tear her apart. That's both parties. Neither one wants her or anyone like her to succeed. I'm rooting for her but I feel like she is a patsy at this point and she is going to be set up to take the fall for something. It's just a hunch.

Ditto on the skateboat thing except I think she's more likely to get murdered by some wackadoo finance by some big company

Two Jar Slave - 2019-03-14

Last summer, the wackadoos thought they were safe at sea.

They were wrong.

Now, in Winter 2019, they've moved their criminal enterprise to the ice floes of Antarctica.

But they won't escape from:

Skateboat II: Ditto on the Skateboat

TJS you caused me uporious laughter.. I'd watch it

>>>I liked her a lot up until she went after Howard Schultz. I didn't think that was very fair of her given her background, and it was very hypocritical.

This is far from self-explanatory. This WTF

Fuck Howard Schultz. At least Donald Trump had the humility to run in primaries. If a billionaire who has never held or even run for elected office can mount a credible campaign for president and simply buy his way on the ballot all over the country, we need to get rid of billionaires.

Shultz had been quoted as saying: “I’m self-made. I grew up in the projects in Brooklyn, New York… I thought that was the American Dream.” What a shithole the US has become if the concentration of more wealth and power than anyone could ever need is what we all are supposed to aspire to.

>>>Caminate, what happened to you?
>>>I used to look up to you, you were the Alpha Weeb on this site.

"I'm really looking forward to how her supporters react to her humiliating defeat." seems incredibly hollow. What does a humiliating defeat in a presidential election look like? Goldwater and McGovern lost in landslides. Both became respected elder statesmen within their own party.

I have no idea what an Alpha Weeb is, but I think Cam used to be a lot more credible as a troll. Or maybe, when I first encountered him, around 2004, I was far more easily trolled. It's nice to think that at least one of us has changed over the years.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2019-03-18

>>>:laugh::laugh: she should go back to tending bar :usa::laugh:#maga

Republicans like to call themselves "the party of Lincoln", who ran by promoting his earlier career as a rail splitter. Yeah, I don't know what that is either.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2019-03-18

Oh, come on, Brawndo!

>>>The GOP experienced growing pains with the Tea Party and that was one of the reasons they were so spread thin and that helped get Obama elected.

The Tea Party, at least as a national movement literally didn't exist before Obama was elected.

>>>My theory is that they are pushing her to the forefront as much as possible even though there are dozens of more qualified Democrats that could talk about these issues much more succinctly and with more expertise and grace...

Really? DOZENS? Who exactly is pushing her? And how is she pushing?

>>>They want AOC to fuck up and tear her apart. That's both parties.

This is pretty typical of conspiratorial thinking. Both parties are united in bringing down AOC, but two sentences ago, the Dems couldn't unite on a platform.

And how exactly is she going to fuck up? You think she might accidentally give the impression that she's some kind of socialist?

>>>The Dems don't have any intention of letting her ideas go forward for a Green New Deal, as much as I would love that and everyone on Earth would benefit from it. They will probably slap some Obamacare version of a GND together at some point to convince the rubes they care.

If the Dems pushed through a more moderate Green New Deal, wouldn't you at least LIKE it? Wouldn't everyone earth benefit from it?

I think AOC is incredibly charismatic, she's incredibly popular, and her performance with the judiciary committee questioning Michael Cohen proved her above-average competent. No one is pushing her, but she's too young to run for President, so she's got very little to lose by being outspoken.

When Kirsten Gillibrand sought the resignation of Al Franken, crazypants liberals were talking about how she was getting him out of the way to further her presidential ambitions. i don't see how that was supposed to work. Nobody except Republicans are going to love you for pushing out a popular Democratic Senator. More relevant is that as a popular Democratic politician in a deep blue state, she could afford to take the hit.
