Hearing that some of the more popular and cited conservative YouTube figures simply lie to their audience about studies doesn't come as any surprise. Fox News, talk radio, newsgroups like Blaze and Breitbart, all are doing the same thing.

I'm glad he made the point that simply biking and recycling isn't going to stop disaster, we need systemic legal and structural changes. But this widespread propaganda and political entrenchment, coupled with voter suppression and fraud, seems to make all standard paths forward unrealistic for anything but slow and long term changes.
