This is a fucking turd. The most successful kickstarter of all time would be the Battletoads creators offering tiered rewards for flying down and punching them in the face.

William Burns - 2019-06-13 The "calarts style" John K revered to was the Disney/WB/Don Bluth style of the 80's and 90's. The original Battletoads was arguably more "calarts" than this. This looks more like the 90's Beetlejuice cartoon.

Old_Zircon - 2019-06-14 I always assumed it meant "thin line animation whose main stylistic feature is being easy/cheap to knock out digitally" with the CalArts association coming from the pipeline from CalArts to the LA commercial animation industry, and Reddit types just parroting it to look smart.
