In Binghamton, the station that I used to listen to in the 70s became a "Classic Rock", station. This means it was essentially the same playlist as 20 years earlier, only much much smaller and more programmed. This was in the late nineties, when I always felt like the next time I heard "Night Moves" or "Hotel California" might be the one time that would push me over the edge, and force me to begin planning my killing spree.

I have no idea what they're playing now. I may not even own a radio.

Most Seattle stations that play rock still play lots of grunge. Seattle never got the memo that grunge died with Kurt Cobain, and we like it that way.
