It's interesting how much time is spent on Rome's agriculture, mining, and manufacturing. It'd be interesting to know if this is an artifact of the fact that the transmission of information is via the silk road trade, or if this reflects priorities of the historian.

Marlon Brawndo - 2019-10-22 I thought that the focus on fabrics was kind of fascinating. Like, it was a big deal to China so they romanticized the West as this big fabric paradise.
