Reminds of The Negro Problem/Pixies. And that's a very good thing. I'll be buying this. Oh yes, I'm impressed.

Gab is one of the best, most creative, and most musical MCs currently recording, by a fairly wide margin.

This is a sort of obvious attempt at doing the same thing as "Hey Ya" did, but it's great.

this shit sucked so bad, like black eyed peas level bad

Menudo con queso - 2007-06-08

Don't worry, you'll love it in ten years once a white musician has stolen the style and sold a billion copies.

Menudo con queso - 2007-06-08

that said, this track's nowhere as good as anything off the Blazing Arrow album.

boba. - 2007-06-08

yes, the reason I don't like it is because it's a black dude and not because it's total pop garbage and not hiphop at all. this is already music for white people.

Blackalicious is (was?) way better than this.

YakooMarkTwo - 2007-06-08

I like them, but this is subpar. By far.

I will concur that this album was the weakest of the Chief Xcel/Gift of Gab union. The breakdown again makes me giggle. Makes me grin.. makes me stand up and stare at the wall..

But Blazing Arrow is the magic point. The Craft was the requiem, and all contributing smiling posthumous (fuck yeah for dramatic!).
But I still love it. The Fall and Rise of Elliot Brown kicks my face in.
Then George Clinton takes the knife with Lotus Flower.
And stabs me to death.

It doesn't hurt that the girl in the video is catastrophically hot.
