So apparently coyote / badger symbiosis is well known and documented.
The two species developed this symbiotic relationship via hunting together.
They hunt prairie dogs. If a prairie dog flees the coyote into its burrow, the badger gets it. If it flees the badger onto the surface the coyote gets it.

"Hey, Chesta! Whaddya wanna do tonight, Chesta? Wanna go dig through some trash cans, Chesta?"

"Nah."

"Yeah, okay.. Uh, How about eating some dry cat food people leave out for the neighborhood strays? Wanna do that, Chesta?"

"Nah."

"Yeah, that's lame. OH! How 'bout we break into a chicken coop and eat some chickens? Wanna do that, Chesta?"

"Yeah, dat sounds good."

"OH! OH! I know just where a chicken coop is, Chesta! Right this way!"
