All else aside, everything zombie related in the last 20+ years is just unwatchable. The most recent zombie movie I've even made it through (and yes that includes Shawn of the Dead) was Wild Zero, and that's more because I liked Guitar Wolf.

That’s about right. Dawn of the Dead remake was good. Shaun of the Dead was great. Everything else was crap, especially Zombieland and 28 Days Later.

Don't forget [REC], which might be the best out of all of them (do NOT watch Quarantine).

You can debate whether they were GREAT or not, but none of them were "unwatchable".
