Some right wing idiot I saw on social media angrily responded "YOU'RE ROOTING FOR THE VIRUS!" to people who were merely expressing their bemused horror at thislevel of stupidity. He's outraged that people are "rooting for ther virus", not that people are actively spreading it.

Because the virus is like Tinkerbell, and responds to messages of encouragement.

Rooting for the virus is like rooting for gravity. Gravity does not need for you to believe in it. Gravity does not give a fuck.

This is a disaster for everybody, and when it hits, those of us who expressed a cold blooded sense of triumph at the epic stupidy (I may be including myself in this), will probably be as overwhelmed by the horror as anyone. When it comes, it won't be so funny.

If you live n these states, it will be a disaster for you.
If you wanted to reopen the economy, it will be a disaster for you.

One thing I have always said: If there is a tipping point, Trump will reach it. I thnk we're about to find out if there's a tipping point.

In terms of deaths and infections what we will see is the curve graph with the spike up then a slow decreasing trend interrupted by spikes as people break quarantine en-mass because the orange buffoon said it's safe.

This will keep going until we hit herd immunity or some extremely unlikely miracle cure or vaccine is found.
