Worst picture actually had some strong contenders

SolRo - 2020-04-29 I dunno, ultra racist Rambo seems a better pick than weird furry musical

garcet71283 - 2020-04-29 Rambo has always been racist, just this time he was killing a minority people care about.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2020-04-30 I get the impression that the "worst disregard for human life" category was created expressly to give "Last Blood" the Fuck You it deserved while still celebrating that special "MY EYES!" ambience of "CATS".
I feel like you guys are taking the Razzies way too seriously, which is weird because I doubt that most of you would take the Oscars seriously. I feel like I'm telling a bunch of wide-eyed innocent children that there is no Santa Claus, but I guess you'd have to learn sooner or later.
Sorry, Virginia, the Razzies are, in fact, a joke. As such, they favor the ridiculous over the merely bad. And they're not going to give the worst picture to Last Blood, because making the whole show about "Last Blood" would be a huge fucking bummer. I do predict, however, that the "Worst Disregard for Human Life and Public Property" award will be a highlight of future shows.
Ever since Halle Barry showed up to accept her award for "Catwoman", I get the impression that showing up to accept your razzie is considered a badge of honor. I like to think that Rebel Wilson would have been there if she could. Her weight, frankly, is one of the reasons why she looked ridiculous, but I love her for doing that. She's the best thing in the movie, and I hope she made a bundle.

The Razzies really need to stop actively trying to be funny. This narrator, all the "wacky" categories. Just be a "worst" mirror to the Oscars.
|
John Holmes Motherfucker - 2020-04-29 all the "wacky" categories
Do you mean "Worst Disregard For Human Life And Public Property"? . That actually sounds pretty serious.
The OSCARS need to stop actively being funny. That time Seth McFarlane hosted should have won a special Razzie.

Old_Zircon - 2020-04-29 I haven't seen the Oscars since sometime in the early 90s and I've never seen these so I guess I don't really have a stake here.

For a second I thought it was Dame Judi dench but I thought about it for a tick and right before it was announced I was like it has to be Rebel Wilson.. I of course was not disappointed

Marlon Brawndo - 2020-05-01 I actually love Rebel Wilson. I have a massive crush on her.
But her eating cockroaches with human heads is pretty fucking revolting.

IT'S NOT EVEN THE WORST MUSICAL OF 2020, THAT WAS MARY POPPINS RETURNS
|
Gmork - 2020-04-30
Watched the rebel Wilson scene, it was boring but not offensive visually. It was just a bad song with a lackluster singing performance. Oh, i get it, she's fat so automatically it's EWWWWW for all the people who are mentally still in high school.

Wasn't there dancing cockroaches? Or was I having the DTs?

I didn't even know about Jason Derulo and his CGI neutered "bulge" from Cats. I feel so out of the loop.
"Tyler Perry and Tyler Perry or Tyler Perry"
Also: "John Travolta and any screenplay he accepts"

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2020-05-02 It's too bad about Travolta. We saw "The Fanatic" on MNR this weekend, and it was truly truly dreadful, painful to watch, but the most painful part for me was that Travolta's performance was actually really good, as far as I know, a breakthrough. But unfortunately, he was limited to the words Fred Durst had written for him. If there was anything unjust about these awards, it's that Travolta got the Razzie, and Durst's screenplay didn't even get nominated. That must have hurt for Travolta. It was pearls before swine, a real Nicolas Cage situation.
