I don't want to take too deep a dive here, but obviously, no, he didn't accuse the reporter of being a junkie.

Yesterday, Biden admitted to murdering my grandmother, except that he didn't at all do that, and it would be idiotic to claim that he had.

I'm not that crazy about Biden, but I love that he addresses race, says something painfully clumsy and awkward, apologizes, and then goes right back to addressing race. This could turn out to be the clumsy, awkward conversation about race that America has always needed. Biden has been saying stupid shit for his whole life. He's not afraid to say stupid shit, and he's not afraid to admit it when he's said stupid shit. I love that!

It's funny how in the hopper as we speak the Dont Vote trolls are trying to reframe 10 second Biden "gaffes" (that he apologises for and clarifies immediately) as somehow comparable to a horrifying train wreck like this interview.
