If Trump dies before the election, doesn't that free up the "moderate" Republicans that were supposedly voting for Biden to vote for Pence instead?

It would really end this year in style if dead Trump still beats Biden.

Anyway, plenty of world leaders have caught the 'rona at this point and been fine. He'll be fine too. Remember, according to doctors he is the healthiest man to ever enter into the presidency.

What I'm hoping for is he narrowly beats COVID and has a Scrooge-on-Christmas-morning style transformation. Just imagine Donnie leaping about in a nightie, buying turkeys for undocumented immigrants.

I really do feel deep empathy for Trump. He's a badly broken person, a man whose fear of humiliation is palpable, and he's sliding towards perhaps the worst humiliation in all of history. He's not smart enough to stop it, but i suspect that he's smart enough to know that its happening. Unlike his cowardly handlers, I have some pity for this man.

I really do wish Donald Trump the best. But the best thing for him would be to die right now, still on top, undefeated, God's golden idiot. Its the best deal he's ever going to get: our deus ex machina, and his, too.

I don't want to be the kind of person who delights in others' pain.
