As far as I can tell, most of these young woman are the least ridiculous part of this. I had no idea there had been so many productions of this legendary stink bomb. The original production of Carrie The Musical was by the Royal Shakespeare Company. The Royal. Shakespeare. Company. And it was a bomb. That does not bode well for your regional theater group.

So why does someone somewhere keep reviving it? I suspect a large gay cult following, the same people who love Pink Flamingos and Myra Breckenridge. You can see how that would work, right? And maybe these guys are having fun. Another possibility is that the show is cursed, and is therefore irresistible, as cursed things generally are.

Of course, it's not fair to judge these productions based on reputation, and some clips that look like they were shot on someone's cellphone, and none of these women would bang me, either. Or the men.

But come on, LOOK AT THEM!
