I've never heard of either, are they worth reading?

His books read exactly like what you'd expect from a Cracked.com editor trying to be Hunter S. Thompson, Phillip K. Dick, William S. Burroughs, Norton Juster, Simon Pegg, Richard Kelly, and Seth Rogan all at once.

If you can read the synopsis of John Dies at the End, with names like "Robert Marley" and a dog named "Bark Lee" without rolling your eyes at least 3 times, then go for it.

Except that was the dog's name in the movie. It had a different name in the books WHICH YOU HAVE OBVIOUSLY NOT READ, NOMINAL.

And, yes, the Zoey Ashe books are definitely worth reading. Like all good science fiction, they're really more of a commentary on contemporary events.

One of the few reasons for optimism I see re: Trumpism dying out. So many of its more extreme adherents are both unlikable and unsociable. You can't hide among the population if you don't get on with any of your neighbors and everybody at work would would snitch on you with great pleasure if they got even half the chance.
