A long time ago I was in San Diego for work, I was in a record store because that's what I did in my downtime, check out record stores. I bought a few CD's on a whim because I'd never heard of these guys and they looked interesting. One was Velvet Underground: Loaded, the other was Replacements: Don't Tell a Soul.

Didn't listen to them until I got home but when I did I discovered they were amazing and couldn't understand why I had never heard of them before.

since I am extremely self important, I will now tell you all that John Cale rules, Vintage Violence is a minor masterpiece, and Fear is a Man's Best Friend is one of the two best rock songs ever made
