Even if we had 100% pollution-free electricity we'd just end up consuming so much that the goddamn heat would be the problem. Stop buying stuff, turn off the goddamn lights, walk and ride your bike or at least ride the bus.

Isn't it also thought that harnessing tidal power would basically mess up, you know, the surf? The wave-breaking part of a beach is a pretty specialized ecosystem, no?
