Herr Matthias - 2022-01-12 Hal Holbrook was famous for portraying Mark Twain, and there was this one episode of TNG (Time's Arrow Part 2) where they go back in time and meet this really over-the-top Mark Twain, not portrayed by Hal Holbrook. I assume that's where that comes from.
