Presentation is a little too “west is the best” jingoistic.
Examples; a lot of the video is a weepy eulogy for the maidan protesters. Left out the part where they killed 18 riot police though. Later on pretty much brushes aside the 48 anti-revolution protestors killed in Odessa, with even some hints of justifying their murder because they threw rocks. Weepy remorse about western Ukrainians dying but no mention of eastern casualties, etc.
Including the initial flashpoint for this; the EU vs Russian deals. My memory is vague but if I remember correctly Ukraine was basically seeking financial support. The EU deal included austerity measures while Russia basically offered direct support without requiring economic reforms to keep Ukraine on its side. Seems like a better deal to me.

What do you want? An impartial unbiased source of information on a contemporary contentious geo-political issue? There's no such thing.
This video is obviously not impartial, but its a good video with good links to stuff.
Nothing you read or watch is impartial, you gotta read as many different sources as possible to begin to understand something like a war.

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2022-02-12 For some geo-political event that happened a few decades ago or more, its possible to read *one* book on the subject and get a decent idea of what went on. All the information has come out at that point and an expert historian can do all the research and summarize what happened more or less.
That's not the case for something contemporary. If you think a single youtube video made by anyone can give you an understanding of a contemporary geo-political event then you are being extremely naive.
