I don't know if that cave should inspire awe or fear.

This was the most amazing documentary series I have ever seen...the HD version was incredible.

Awe, as long as you have a parachute.
Namor - 2007-07-02
My God that is gorgeous. I had no idea.
kingarthur - 2007-07-02
I'm in. Who's with me?
halon - 2007-07-03
That is one hell of a climb to get back out.
I am so in.
(the last part of this episode with the crystal caves was probably the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen recorded)

I wonder what tribe's mythology is being raped by this little tourist route (see Werner Herzog's "White Diamond"), but beyond beautiful nonetheless.
It's in Mexico, not exactly a lot of lost, unspoiled tribes there.

How do they get out?
They're still working on that part.

Wow. It's so big it messes with your sense of scale. It doesn't seem 300 meters deep until somebody jumps in and completely disappears.
Gwago - 2008-03-10
Dude, did he... did he just jump in?!

These types of caves were the basis of many Meso-American belief systems. They were literally gates to the underworld.
Planet Earth is one of the most amazing documentary series ever created, and you all are infinitely commendable for showcasing some of the clips here. David Attenborough is my hero, and I love the fact that so many of you feel the same. :)

That wasn't nearly as erotic as the title suggested.
oogaBooga - 2008-10-01
Reminds me of an ex-girlfriend. HEY-OOOOO!
Lies, lies, LIES! - 2008-12-27
Also their balls are huge.
The Mothership - 2011-12-01
This is amazing.
