This was the most amazing documentary series I have ever seen...the HD version was incredible.

Wow. It's so big it messes with your sense of scale. It doesn't seem 300 meters deep until somebody jumps in and completely disappears.

These types of caves were the basis of many Meso-American belief systems. They were literally gates to the underworld.

Planet Earth is one of the most amazing documentary series ever created, and you all are infinitely commendable for showcasing some of the clips here. David Attenborough is my hero, and I love the fact that so many of you feel the same. :)
