Well..yes and no. The plane plot is a parody of Zero Hour, but the stuff with Lloyd Bridges and Robert Stack on the ground is a parody of an old TV show set in an airport where OMG EMERGENCY happens every episode.

I knew this, but it's still funny to see "We need to find someone that can not only fly a plane, but who didn't have fish for dinner" delivered un-ironically.
