To be fair to Keven Smith, even his movies where he does rehash old characters suck.

"An Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder" is a good watch if you like Kevin Smith and are bored or hungover.

I really dig Smith's style, and if I find characters funny I don't mind seeing them again. At least he doesn't try to pass them off as a completely different person with the same act in each movie like for instance, Ben Stiller. I could watch/listen to that guy rock the mic all day.

+1 star for a public appearance in which he doesn't dress like a total fucking slob.

Letting a heckler take control of the agenda is not "busting" them. It's one thing to respond...and given them some shit or make a fool out of them for a few minutes or whatever. But there's that line that gets crossed where you spend just a few seconds TOO much time on this shit and then, suddenly, the show is about the heckler...the heckler wins because he took control of the scene.
If Smith had let it go at "fucking your mom up the ass" or whatever and just moved on, it would have been perfect. But he couldn't.

I like kevin smith. I hate his movies.

It's sad when rich and successful people get defensive.
