Holy fuck, I remember watching this, though it was in English, on American television (that sounds like German or something), and it was sang by Oliver's voice actor (a kid).
I also had the terrible realization I had seen this show, as well.
I also just realized at the title it read's "Saban's Adventures of Oliver Twist". How unsurprising.
Oliver sure does a lot of running.
It goes without saying that this series is not faithful to the original story at all.
I have been watching too many internet shorts when, in a furry take of Dickens, I question the plausibility of an alligator in London.
