Man, I need to upgrade my box, this game looks like crap on my machine, I'm surprised it runs (P4 3Ghz single core, 1 G RAM, NV6800).

Yes, you do. I went up to C2D E6300, 7900GS 256MB, 4GB, and what it does in comparison to my old P4 2.8, 2GB, NV6800 is incredible. HL2 Lost Coast / Ep 1 at 1920x1200 with everything on? Oh god, yes. Sweet Jesus, yes yes yes. But I expect Bioshock to turn my computer space into a sauna anyway.

I only have a gig of RAM and BioShock plays just fine for me at the max settings. It's all in the speed of the RAM and the video card. :D

I keep my vsync set so I cap at 60fps but I can usually peg 300fps in Source-based games.

I had to stop watching when I realized it would give away the best part of any horror game: the buildup at the beginning before you encounter any monsters =(
