I came the first time I saw him bite that pepper
For the pepper, or for the smirk after the pepper?
I could never watch Backdraft the same way ever again
This is what all television should be.
And yet, there can be only one IRON CHEF!
The invasion will be swift and delicious.
I never want to cook or eat as much as I do when I see this opening. The absolute best opening in history.
Fuck you Food Network for not showing Japanese Iron Chef anymore.
This man speaks the truth!
Do the Japanese think of bell peppers as something really tough to eat?
There was a daimyo
never raised his blade
the yellow pepper's flesh was
enough to win the battle
on Yodo River.
TV is the new book. Read one.
There's something severely wrong with anyone who doesn't give this five stars.
Then why are you here?
You can keep your stupid "Iron Chef America." This is the REAL DEAL, baby.
Iron Chef America has nothing on the original. Although I really do prefer Batali to Kobe.
5 stars because I imagine the good Chairman starts every day off with a nice, crisp pepper and an army of prep cooks ready to tear shit up and his very beck and call.
Takeshi Kaga also portrayed the title role in a Japanese production of Jesus Christ Superstar, in case there was any doubt that he is in fact the second coming.
