Man, that looks awesome and you know it.

I gave it five stars, that doesn't stop me from being able to say that the military industrial complex is evil. I appreciate it's ability to blow shit up, though.

Sup dawg, we heard you like low taxes, so we spent a million dollars in defense spending on this shitty video game.

coprolalia - 2007-09-23
Shoulda used Motorhead's "Bomber" for the soundtrack.
Aernaroth2 - 2007-09-23
-1 because you cant fly through a mountain in real life.
Derrida - 2007-09-23
Does anybody know what this particular game is called, or where to get it?
SolRo - 2007-09-23
It's called Cheaply Made Advertising Game.

Even battlefield 2 planes look better than that PoS.

It was a game developed by Northrop / Carnegie Mellon to serve as an interactive recruiting aid. Trainwrecks all around, really; defense contractors make terrible game development companies/partners.

Thanks, Halon.

The key to understanding this video is the artist's conception of the interactive recruiting booth with the hot girl turning towards the screens as if to say, "Who are those manly men playing video games in public?"
kingarthur - 2007-09-23
You're actually considered to have a great job around here if you work for Northrup Grumman. Never mind that they have annual lay offs. Or that they build death machines.
halon - 2007-09-24
If it's anything like Lockheed (I actually contract for them through my university right now--I placate my conscience with the fact that I work in training and simulation, and not blowing up brown people), they aren't really "layoffs", people just bounce around between internal projects. The Man really does offer pretty awesome job flexibility and benefits, if you can silence that little voice in the back of your head.

This game trains you on how to fly a fighter jet while floating 30 feet behind it.

Loses 2 stars because I can't make it through even half the video. Recruiting must be at all time lows. What the hell, it's basically Ace Combat, but shitty. Also, what Fabio said. I want my tax dollars back.
