If you couldn't guess, the bad ending is much, much better.

Why was the evil cult leader guy the priest who married them?
|Caminante Nocturno |
I think you mixed up the "Good" ending and the "Bad" ending.
Needs a Harvester tag, though, to connect it to the ever WTF-worthy Wasp Baby clip.

THAT'S BULLSHIT, MOM!
The guy was dressed right for the serial killer part.
I love how the monk just consists of repeating the same five-second loop of ambiguous expressions while he "telepathically" speaks.
Looks so lost and befuddled, too, like they just grabbed a hobo out of the alley, threw a robe on him, and filmed him just as he tried futilely to rouse himself from his drunken stupor.
Later they gave him a sandwich and a bottle of Mr. Boston and threw him out the door. It is universally agreed that the hobo got the best deal in the entire production of this game.
The protagonist totally looks and acts like a chubbier version of a guy who made a hilariously awful fantasy-action-adventure series for Charlottesville public access, called "John Johnson's Fear Fighter: Save the Legion".
I so wish I had saved some of the tapes. It's prime poeTV material.
the hand. that grips. the knife. that stabs.

If I had played to the end of this game and got EITHER ending I would've thrown the thing out the fucking window.
I think the "Bad Ending" is my new favorite ending ever.

This is the greatest game ever
If they would have gotten people that could act, this might have a been a halfway decent game. It had some creepy and depressing plot points (mother hanging herself and her five year old daughter, a next door neighbour whose dad was a pedophile, child cannibals,) but was killed by the most atrocious acting this side of an MST3K movie and stereotypes straight out of the 1950's (although this was more of a "comedic effect" sort of thing, seeing as the whole game was set in the 1950's.) What they lacked in acting caliber they certainly made up for in gore. It was certainly an ambitious effort. Unfortunately, it fell a bit short. Still, for the time, it was pretty edgy.

Road Runner cartoon? ROAD RUNNER CARTOON? BWA HAH HA.
So what, was this a game within a game within a game or something? What platform was it for, anyway?
I love all these 90s FMV games, where they used shitty CG as a replacement for spending even $20 on a basic set piece.
