I love how the monk just consists of repeating the same five-second loop of ambiguous expressions while he "telepathically" speaks.
Looks so lost and befuddled, too, like they just grabbed a hobo out of the alley, threw a robe on him, and filmed him just as he tried futilely to rouse himself from his drunken stupor.
Later they gave him a sandwich and a bottle of Mr. Boston and threw him out the door. It is universally agreed that the hobo got the best deal in the entire production of this game.

If they would have gotten people that could act, this might have a been a halfway decent game. It had some creepy and depressing plot points (mother hanging herself and her five year old daughter, a next door neighbour whose dad was a pedophile, child cannibals,) but was killed by the most atrocious acting this side of an MST3K movie and stereotypes straight out of the 1950's (although this was more of a "comedic effect" sort of thing, seeing as the whole game was set in the 1950's.) What they lacked in acting caliber they certainly made up for in gore. It was certainly an ambitious effort. Unfortunately, it fell a bit short. Still, for the time, it was pretty edgy.
