God, numbers stations have always freaked me out. Try listening to the Conet Project in a dark house alone. Genuinely eerie stuff.
Especially the first track (Swedish Rhapsody, I think) with the ice cream truck music and the little girl rattling off numbers in a monotone voice. Number stations scare the shit out of me now.
Number stations are my favorite real-life creepy thing.
The first time I heard about number stations, it made me smile to realize the world could still be that weird.
