I love this movie. I think it's easily one of Spielberg's best, but is it just me or it seems like time has forgotten this one? Virtually everyone I get into movie conversations with doesn't even know what it is.

Yeah, I think it's one of his most overlooked films nowadays, despite being nominated for six Oscars in '88 (it didn't help that it was up against The Last Emperor).

But hey, when you've got a catalogue like Spielberg's, some of your earlier stuff is bound to get buried.

When I first watched American Psycho, I had this constant, nagging feeling that I'd seen the lead actor in something before. I didn't even find out this kid was him until a couple of years ago.

A very good film.

This is one of the VERY few movies where they get the sound right. The sound of the P-51 is almost as important as it's appearance, and in this particular scene they fucking nailed it.

I've never seen this movie. Did this scene have significant importance to the plot?
