You know, when I was in high school I went to a Star Trek convention. My best friend at the time made fun of it and told me I should go to a gay science fiction convention. He said that would be the only thing better than just a scifi one.

I never thought something said in such passing ridiculousness could actually come to pass and watching this gives me a very odd feeling.

More than just about any other Daily Show segment, I'd love to see the raw footage from this one. Steve Carell gadding about in various costumes, interviews with furries, and so forth. There's probably some real gold in there.

I played warhammer at a convention when I was 13. I got in a fight with another guy about grenades. Life has sort of sucked since then.
