Aelric +5 to preserve this travesty. smeg just don't work without the british accent.
Alfred Shitcock The whole show just doesn't work without the british accents.
I give this three stars, because it's so awful it's both awesome, and terrible at the same time.
Randroid Don't think the original would've worked with different British actors either. One of those shows with an abysmal plot but good characters and dialogue that works on some strange level.
sloth love crunk Makes me wonder what a British Star Trek might have been like.
boner 4 stars for evil alone. I guess the original did work because the actors were so good at timing and stuff. Plus the Liverpool accent does make you sound like a complete gimp.
I'm a fan of the show, so I tend to lean towards the thought of: 'there was nothing wrong with the concept or the show...like anything else that is brilliant, it becomes fucked up when you let other people dick around with the formula'.
theSnake 5 stars of hatred. The original was great because of the actors and the writing. This had neither.
Blaise 5 Stars for Craig Bierko (aka Dave Lister), the poor man's Clive Owen.
RandomFerret Five stars for preservation. We must never forget what almost happened here.
meowmers it was not that bad.
it was a lot like red dwarf.
but still not red dwarf.
