well, the QRIO (pronounced Queer-O in japanese) was initially made to mince about sake bars, pitching 'cubes into patron's mixed drinks and coolers... not pictured is the detachable leather safety gear

ASIMO on the other hand...

Consider this one: http://youtube.com/watch?v=9Q0ubRMw8L8

One missap is a bad PR thing, but the Asimo has had a hell of a lot of development done to it. If they can solve the power issue (being it's size, it has a 15min autonomy), that thing will start kicking ass. Better be on it's side.

I keep saying we need to develop more EMP weapons...

On the other hand though, I totally want one of these.

so these are the robots from Beck's Hell Yes video
cognitivedissonance - 2007-11-07
They could at least design a robot WITHOUT rickets.
Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2007-11-07
When another robot catches it and starts balancing it on its cybernose we'll know it's time to rescind our power to the robots and dolphins.
Cube - 2007-11-07
Aaaaaaawww it's so cube. I mean cute.
kingarthur - 2007-11-07
I like when it does the "where's the bathroom???" dance at the end.
Randroid - 2007-11-07
Persons denying the existence of robots may be robots themselves.

Bonus stars for the music.
Aubrey McFate - 2007-11-07
It may be cute, but that's only to deceive us! Because the robot apocalypse is coming! Like Terminator and shit! I wonder if anyone else will make this joke!
Randroid - 2007-11-07
You forgot the bit about "our new overlords".

I'm not afraid of anything made by Sony.
Camonk - 2007-11-08
Excellent. Now teach it karate, so I'll actually find its stupid little shenanigans interesting.

The scariest part in these robot videos is always when they stand up. They seem angry and unrelenting.
Testicles of Doom - 2007-11-08
Ah, just throw some sand at it. Some of it is bound to get inside its gears and such.

That's how I defeated my robot master.

athodyd - 2007-11-08
I love how virtually all of this generation of walking robots have the little backpack-looking counterweight to keep them upright. It makes them look like they're on their way to futuristic elementary school.
B_Ko - 2007-12-17

also, five stars for the severely jaunty jogging sequence.

Spastic Avenger - 2008-03-12
When they solve the problem that all these things look like they've shit their pants when they walk I will think they are cool. Up until then, it's robot jox all the way.

Good arm but the little guy clearly has no vertical leap.
