It's wonderful. It's a shame about the quality of the color. I wonder if this is just from an inferior print or if they shot it in some kind of primitive 2-color system (France was pretty poor in 1951), which might explain the weakness of the greens and blues and the strength of the reds and yellows when either color pair is recessive in the frame. I don't claim to be an expert, I'm just guessing.

I'd love to see the whole thing in good quality.
