Ryo-Cokey The actual muscle paralysis from a taser only lasts for a second or two. It's the pain and shock that keeps most people from getting back up. In the case of the berserk, drunk, or otherwise beyond pain, a taser won't keep them down for very long.

Everyone is so anti-tazer right now (and in my opinion, rightly so to an extent) that people are supposed to get upset about a pissed off dog getting tazed. If a pissed off DUDE tried to attack this cop, he'd be fucking dead. I'm glad the cop had the unusual restraint in NOT pumping this poor dog full of hot 9mm and the other cop for being quick enough with his tazer to nail the dog. It would have been easier, both physically and psychologically to just kill the little fucker - but the cops acted correctly. I'm glad the dog didn't get killed just because it's owner trained it to be so aggressive.
