Whats the point of the rating system having 1 star then?

Just for the hell of it I counted the number of videos for the past 7 days and there are around 230. Some of them were multiple submissions like The A-Team and The Muppet Movie, so the number is probably closer to 200.

I counted 6 cat videos for the past 7 days. There are a few other animal videos, too, but I don't think the total of them exceeds 15.

I don't think you have much of a case as far as poeTV is concerned.

Im just tired of having to sift through all the junk people throw 5 stars because theres a fart joke or a cat in it to get to something that is actually good. Can you tell me with a straight face that this shit is as good as Cautionary Tales of Swords or Garbage Day?

If people stopped submitting all videos with fart jokes and cats, then it wouldn't necessarily follow that you'd get more of your favorites. Besides, I think there's a good chance that some of the people who like fart jokes and cats also like Cautionary Tales of Swords and Garbage Day, so your favorite types of videos will still make it here no matter how many of your least favorites are--or aren't--submitted.

You can generally get a good sense of what a video is about by its title and description, so I don't think it's that difficult to sift through.

The only thing that got me interested in the cat videos is the comments.
