I submitted Heidegger from this series a month ago, maybe you should add the "human all too human tag" for consistency's sake.

Done and done.

Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy begger who could think you under the table.

... and...

There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya 'bout the raising of the wrist...

I am a philosopher, philosophers should be kings

Yes, more well-made documentaries/biographies!

Word!

I also love how the Germans consistently produce superior people and societies, even though we keep blowing the shit out of them. Germany, you amaze me.

EvilHomer - 2007-11-27
The problem is, they KNOW they produce superior people, which produces bad results and forces us to blow the shit out of them.

Minus one star for no tits or fat kids (again!!!) and for only a brief focus on the Nazis, but plus one for the imagery of N. as a punk. I always thought of him as the whiney goth of philosophers, but punk rocker of philosophers works too.

I don't care for Nietzsche, but this was an excellent documentary. Minus one star for a weak-spirited attempt at reenacting the parable of the madman.
