I might actually watch this just based on this.... MAYBE.
do remember, my dear baleen, that this is the same series that gave us this infamous clip:
the intro has style, and i like the general art style getting away from the cookie cutter anime look, but can it please not be about vores?
Part of the reason I submitted the clip was for its heartbreaking depiction of Japan's aging voreaphile population, in the form of that guy across the table. :`(

So someone gimme a summary here..
+1 star for the Lost Highway tribute in the intro.
Kemonozume is a very bizzare show, somewhere between romance, action and horror. In general it is pretty refreshing for anime. I don't want to give away too much, but the basics are covered in the first episode:
Right away we're introduced to the Shokujinki, an ancient line of people cursed by forgotten gods to eat the flesh of other people. They normally appear human, but are big nasty monsters in their "natural" form. The Shokujinki are harried by an equally ancient family of warriors dedicated to hunting the monsters down and killing them (with a specialized style of kendo called Kifuken which results in nice and messy action scenes).
The story kicks off when Toshihiko, the heir to the Kifuken dojo meets and falls in love with Yuka, a Shokujinki.
Also, there is a monkey.

If I skip the rockin' theme song that has nothing after it, that would leave 1/5th of the clip.

We all know we're going to end up being that old man some day.
Is that other guy humping the table at the end?
and does EVERY episode open with a man turning into a demon and murdering a hot chick?
He sure is.
And be fair, Fab. Old Timer here merely gummed her a little.

I've only seen an episode or two of this.
I really need to pick it up again
