I couldn't submit multi-part because of an error, but the second half is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwuffpiYxQU
I'm glad to see it's not just childhood nostalgia making me remember it fondly, this guy was a scream. I was pretty scared of him.
Good stuff Syd. I'll have to watch more of these.
I remember seeing this guy on the hilarious house of frightenstein. He kicked ass then, and he kicks ass now.
Fuck yeah, Bernoulli's principle.

So many memories. When I was 7 or 8, he did an experiment with a low pressure flask where he boiled water with the heat from his hands, and when he went WATCH IT the cameraman missed it and he scolded the camera, frightening me badly. YOU DIDN'T WATCH IT! NOW WATCH IT!
He studied under Einstein, and was certainly Einstein's protege in the fashion department.
This guy rules. Submit all of these you can find, Syd.
"Now I'm going to do it again -- BECAUSE I LIKE IT!"
This is probably the fondest memory I have of junior high science classes. Seriously, kids would whisper to each other in hushed tones in the hallways that yes, there was indeed a Julius Sumner-Miller video to watch in science class that day. TO THIS DAY, friends I still have from then will ocassionally bring this man up.
"Watch it! Watch it! ....there it is!"
I believe he also has a science building of some university named after him in Australia.
I didn't know Gary Marshall was a science professor!
when business guys do coke, the 80s happen. When scientists do coke, this happens.
Most people who talk like this are pompous assholes. But this guy is charmingly awesome.
He sounds like The Wizard of Oz.
Tinman! I'm going to give you a brain! And I'm going to do it twice! Because I like it. It's terrific!
This man is awesome.
and yes, he should have given Tinman a heart, but he likes giving him brains more.
also, I'm dumb.
