They were the one word reviews the show received throughout its run.

DrVital
Tartikoff eventually brought in drug use as a mid-season replacement show.

Funny how the last thing I remember Zach in was dead man of campus, which was basically a college pot comedy.

John Lennon looks like he's lighting up in Screech's locker.

I don't think he knows what "hit idea" means
citrusmirakel
The laugh track after Screech peeked his head out from the locker was what made it for me. The editors clearly didn't realize what was happening, and just had the immediate reaction of "Oh, the jew kid is saying something! Hit the red button!"
fluffy
yes I was wondering about that as well

doc duodenum
The laugh was for his shirt.

Rodents of Unusual Size
The laugh was for his future. His future is on drugs.

It's videos like this that caused a generation of middle class kids to fetishize illicit drug use. Thanks SBTB.

This is the kind of video that, had I actually watched it in 1991, my dad would look at me and say, "See, what does that teach you?"

I'm not really that close with my parents.

Worst show ever? Quite possibly.
Camonk
Wait, Saved by the Bell or Don't Do Drugs? Either way, I think you're probably right.

Xenocide
"Don't Do Drugs" had a decent start in the ratings, but nosedived when ABC moved "MacGuyver" to the same timeslot, much to the dismay of series star Corey Feldman. A follow up series "Okay, Do Drugs Then." was even less successful, perhaps due to the fact that the title was sarcastic and the entire series consisted of Wilford Brimley giving the viewer a series of stern looks.
Jimmy Labatt
I am five starring both the video and Xeno's delightful post reminding me of Wilford Brimley
