Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Fancy Schmancy word for subtle suggestions imbedded in your speech. Best example here is when he says to the people, as he hands them the money, "just take this and everything's fine" or "this will be fine"or something to that effect. It won't work in real life as successfully as it does in the clip, BUT it is surprisingly good for getting a person you're talking to into specific emotional states, provided they don't realize what's happening though it helps if the person is already inclined to lean in that direction. For example, you could make the horny hornier.
Oh, Christ. Not NLP! This is the stuff that everyone's liberal woman manager forces down their throats to make the workplace "happier" and more "positive." Every time I know a middle-aged woman is using NLP, it makes me angry.
I am a bit of a skeptic. I dont think this is totally fake but I think there was some heavy editing involved. I checked out his other stuff and it left me with a similar feeling.
he keeps talking about the subway and at the point where he says "and my friends said"... he hands them the paper and says "just take it, take it"... SUGGESTION!
They probably went to about fifty different places and only showed three. I wouldn't be surprised if the two successes in this video were the only ones.
