Innocent Bystander
You know as far as MST3k movies go, this movie was surprisingly good. Had a more or less coherent plot and even some suspense and stuff.

Dupe. http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=13891.

MST3K was sometimes more enjoyable when it was dealing with movies which stayed above a certain base level of quality. Mitchell fell into that category, I think.

Except that Mitchell had a nonsensical plot and Joe Don Baker was FAT. But you are right. A relatively good movie offers more to work with than a consistently dreadful one.

Another good example is the one with Gregory Peck and Gene Hackman that actually won an Oscar.

shit. i don't see how i passed over that, i checked for it and everything. oh well. sorry.

mitchell was amazing! so was FINAL JUSTICE, the other joe don baker epic.

the peck and hackman film was SPACE TRAVELLERS, the public domain version of MAROONED

Aubrey McFate
I loved Space Travellers. Anytime Gene spoke, Joel and the bots applauded.
