I'll give you the synopsis. Without the moon, we would all die. No Joke. Captain Jean-Luc Picard says so.
What if we modify the main deflector dish to emit a reverse tachion pulse? Would that help?

Caminante Nocturno
Sailor Moon would have been an entirely different series. They would have had to call it Sailor Earth, rewritten the entire story to fit her new name, probably been forced to give her an entirely different hairstyle. One of the most influential titles to anime fandom in the United States would have been completely different. One can only guess how that would have effected anime as a whole.
she'd still be winning love by daylight, but would probably do less fighting evil [in moonlight]...

Caminante Nocturno
The important thing to remember is that she would still never run from a real fight.

Wow, female astronomers are totally lesbicious.

I bet her girlfriend's name is Mark too.

And at 10:00, a scientist!
Oh, I was hoping everything would be awesome with no moon.
Without the moon, you'd also just be stuck outside New York City, which is really no big deal.
We'd all have to come up with a new term for brandishing your ass at people.
